It seems every week CM Punk comes out and well says the same thing every week. It is his new thing and it kills me to say this because I love CM Punk but it is getting very stale but in my opinion but is not really the problem. Rock and Austin said the same things alot and that is okay for a time. The problem with CM Punk and his feud with Triple H is their is no heel. CM Punk whines and complains and freaks out about being screwed and his current target of this anger is Triple H who has done nothing wrong. If anything WWE has tried to make Hunter look like a baby face. We as fans are positioned to have sympathy for Triple H's character someone is insulting his ability to do his job and his man hood that he is for lack of a better word whipped by his
wife. So why as a fan should I be behind CM Punk because he exposes the business and cuts work shoot promos. Well that doesn't do anything good exposing the business will only work when it has impact like when Punk cut his first promo where his mic was cut. What Punk needs is a apparent stand out enemy someone you can point at not the WWE as a company or the mentality of smaller guys cant get over.

I am not comparing the two talents but Steve Austin's run against the powers at be anyone could see that Steve Austin's enemy was Vince McMahon. So on Sunday will we finally get to see a enemy a true enemy for CM Punk right now as much as I love CM Punk he is helping the business it has slowed down and tomorrow night all of our new found faith in the WWE's usage of CM Punk is renewed.

This match should be the main event on the Night Of Champions PPV. Del Rio vs Cena is not something people are really paying to see WWE has messed that feud up so bad it is unbelievable but that's a different blog altogether.
But I have to say I am legitimately stumped I as a fan can usually watch a PPV already knowing who will win which match and most of the time I happen to be correct but this one I really don't know what is going to happen. So lets go over the options and possibilities.

Number 1. CM Punk Wins: If this happens Triple H is now no longer COO. This could actually happen anyone out their who thinks Vince McMahon is done from TV is crazy Vince is not finished and he could be coming back in to take his revenge on CM Punk. If Hunter is screwed by Kevin Nash who the entire time has been working for Vince McMahon with John Laurinaitis being used by Vince to influence and still control the company while away or instead of Vince it could be Stephanie because lets be honest this thing Punk is doing attacking the evil higher power has not worked the last couple weeks because their is no evil power Triple H is a baby face I cannot help but see in the future Hunter standing side by side with CM Punk against this evil power in WWE that has not been displayed to us yet.

Number 2. Triple H Wins: If Hunter wins clean CM Punk dies in my opinion it would be a step back with his character that could easily end up killing his character the only reason it may not is CM Punk is so talented he could get something else over and talent always shines through. The only way in my opinion that CM Punk loses is if Hunter turns heel and cheats CM Punk and Hunter turns out to be the evil super power in WWE. I am a bigger fan of the possibilities discussed in outcome #1 above but it is what it is.

If you did not already know I love me some CM Punk ever since I saw him in Ring of Honour I could always see their was something special about CM Punk. His ability to speak and wrestling skills on are a different level then most talent and he has a unique style that makes him stand out. All that being said I do have one major problem with CM Punk and it is his finisher the GTS does not look real lets all be honest. In theory the Go To Sleep is a awesome move toss the opponent off your shoulders he does a spin and ends up with his face smashing against your knee, all sounds good right? The problem is the finisher doesn't actually connect and not that I want to see wrestlers getting knocked out by taking knees in the face I don't really know what I want to see happen to change the GTS. All I do know is that when I watch the Go To Sleep I see wrestling is fake. Who ever is getting hit with the GTS does not actually get hit in the face with a knee and you can clearly see it and then you watch the wrestlers who landed on his feet and had a knee come two inch's from his face drop down to the mat selling it like they where hit by Triple H's sledgehammer It shows me what I am watching is fake. Now people are going to say what are you complaining about wrestling is fake. Well yes it is and so was Seinfeld but the fact that Seinfeld's characters and dialogue where so real made it great. Ask your self the question what makes a great actor in dramatic hollywood box office movies? The fact that he is believable is what comes to my mind, they could be the greatest words ever written but if you the actor or performer does not deliver them properly and make them believable those great words mean nothing.

Now please don't get on me for saying CM Punk is not believable or not a good performer what I am saying is the move in my opinion has a negative effect on the show. Shawn Michaels was one of the best if not the best wrestler ever and without taking credit away from Shawn I believe his finisher was part of that.

I always try to look at the big picture and never judge a angle right away I have to see it play through and then make a decision. So tonight CM Punk beat John Cena to become the Undisputed WWE Champion then strangely Kevin Nash appeared and destroyed Punk laying him out in the ring and running back into the crowd next Alberto Del Rio's music hit and Del Rio cashed in Money In The Bank and won the WWE Championship. So my first thought is why piss off the fans they just won over with giving CM Punk this much credibility. I have to say I have always been a fan of the chase so having Punk chase someone for the WWE Title as a Baby Face could very easily work. Alberto Del Rio as WWE Champion? I happen to be a big Del Rio fan but I am not sure if he's ready really only time will tell. My next question is Punk going to feud with Kevin Nash and is Kevin Nash going to have another run? Nothing against Nash but I don't understand why yet other than he's Triple H's buddy. I really hope Kevin Nash is back for something meaningful that makes sense with who he is.

Randy Orton VS Christian was a good match but I have become desensitized to tables and chairs I would rather see a good match with real rules that feels like a real professional competition and of course wrestling is a show and not a real sport but it is a show mimicking a real sport and what real sport would allow crazy shit that happens in a no holds barred or extreme rules match.

At this point as good as this feud has been it needs to come to a end it's time. Orton winning was inevitable and as much as I would have loved to have seen Christian made to look better in this feud it has been good and good for Christians career. Currently now though I find my biggest fear in pro wrestling is WWE having nothing for Christian and seeing him dwindle in the mid card from now on. I cannot explain to you how much it would bother me to see that.

As for the rest of the matchs Sheamus Vs Mark Henry was solid to watch the match had a good spot through the guard rail and Henry continued to look like a monster. Kelly Kelly retained the Divas Title in a match where Kelly was made to show a tougher side a match where WWE planned to make Kelly Kelly. Wade Barret and Daniel Bryan had a match where Barret won it was good to see two young talents on PPV and to see Barret going  back to his FCW gimmick chasing wins and titles for money and wearing the jacket for his entrance. Also a thrown together show opener three versus three tag match Alberto Del Rio, The Miz and R Truth in a team of heels faced the team of baby faces in Rey Mysterio, John Morrison and Kofi Kingston. This match was very thrown together but at the same time the talent in the match worked a very good opener these six man match's are very hard to work with so many competitors and the multiple spot finish was awesome. The Team of Raw baby faces won this match.

In conclusion this was a decent pay per view but I never imagined anything as great as we received last months in Money In The Bank it's hard to capture lightning in a bottle twice and the shocking end did have me blown away.
